Carlos Fabal is a visual storyteller from the Dominican Republic, based in the city of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) since 2014, where he works as a freelance professional for various international media, carrying out coverage in Brazil and the rest of Latin America.

Since the beginning of his career, he has worked on relevant journalistic coverage ranging from urban conflicts, natural disasters, and climate change to culture, politics, sports, and racial issues.

Besides being a video journalist he has also worked as a photojournalist, having his work published in magazines, newspapers, websites, and TV all over the world, such as National Geographic, Time, The Guardian, Financial Times, Le Monde, BBC, El País, CNN, RT, CGTN, France Télevision, France 24, among others.
